In this 2-hour class we will go over different yoga postures and sequences that help lengthen the spine and stretch and strengthen the back muscles. We will also discuss and practice ways to keep the back body healthy throughout the day, and healthy in your yoga practice. This will help students learn to deal will the occasional back soreness from daily tension. This class is open to all levels of yoga practitioners, but is not recommended if you have severe back pain. Please bring a journal and writing utensil.
