New classes are coming to the schedule next month, while some classes are changing form, and others taking a little hiatus.
We are officially introducing Monthly Classes. These classes, held once a month, every month, are just like regular classes, except you will find the class length and number of credits/drop-in cost to be different. These classes are free to members with an unlimited yoga pass. And class passes can be used on these classes as well. While regular classes typically cost 1 credit, these monthly classes range from 0.5 to 2 credits. Drop-in cost remains proportionately the same: 1 credit = $10, 0.5 credits = $5, 2 credits =$20, and so on.
If you're looking for a structured, focused, and challenging practice, Fundamentals of Ashtanga will be a class to attend. On the last Sunday of each month, train with Sarah Boggan, an instructor with over 20 years of experience, as she leads you through the Primary Series. The Ashtanga Yoga method will help you cultivate strength, focus, flexibility, and discipline. It is unlike any of the other classes we offer, and is well worth checking out at least a few times.
Our Monday evening Yin and Friday evening Restorative weekly classes will be combining into one 90-minute monthly class on the last Friday of the month. For now, we will not have a weekly Friday evening class. Instead, you can catch one of two monthly classes on Fridays: the previously mentioned Yin/Restorative, and First Friday Flow - the first Friday of every month at 5:30pm.
Coming to the schedule on Monday nights is a second Vinyasa class, led by Priya Applewhite! Some of you will be familiar with Priya, as she was the owner of the old Temple Yoga on 31st. So excited to have her back in the studio and sharing her gifts with us.
And, finally, Thursday evening Yoga Mix will be taking a short, month-long hiatus, as our monthly Beginner's Series takes its place in May. But Rachel will be back at it in June!
